"Private Google Ads Strategy Community for Owner-Led Businesses"

Community Rules

Effective Date: 8/1/2026

PART 1 — Community Guidelines

The Catalyst is a premium community, and it stays that way because members show up, share honestly, and treat each other like peers. These are the ground rules.

1. Be respectful. Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, personal attacks, insults, or discrimination of any kind. Political and unrelated hot-button debates belong elsewhere — keep the forum focused on Google Ads and PMax.

2. Stay on topic. The Catalyst is for Google Ads, Performance Max, and related paid-search/paid-social strategy. Off-topic posts, chain messages, and unrelated spam will be removed.

3. No unsolicited selling. Don’t pitch your agency, course, software, or freelance services in posts, comments, or DMs to other members. Genuine answers that happen to reference your own experience are fine — cold pitching is not. Repeat offenders lose posting privileges.

4. Help generously. If you know the answer, share it in the thread rather than gatekeeping with “DM me.” The whole point of The Catalyst is members learning from each other in the open, at a level worth the membership.

5. One seat, one member. Your membership is for your personal use. Don’t share your login, resell access, or post paid Content (videos, templates, webinar recordings) outside the Community.

6. Protect sensitive data. Blur or redact client names, account IDs, and budgets in screenshots unless you have permission to share them. Don’t repost another member’s screenshots, results, or account data outside the thread they were shared in.

7. Search before you post. Check existing threads before starting a new one on the same topic — it keeps the forum useful and searchable for everyone.

8. No guaranteed results, and that cuts both ways. Advice shared here reflects individual experience, not a promise of performance. Be honest about what worked for you and be skeptical of anyone promising guaranteed outcomes — including yourself.

9. Report, don’t retaliate. If a post breaks these rules, flag it for a moderator instead of escalating in the thread.

10. Consequences. Violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the Community without refund, at our discretion, consistent with our Terms of Service.

PART 2 — Enforcement Policy

Internal reference for moderators.

A. Moderation Team

Moderators are designated by Brands2Ads to monitor forum activity, remove violating content, and enforce these Rules and the Terms of Service. Moderator decisions can be appealed per Section D below.

B. Severity Tiers

Tier 1 — Minor. Off-topic posts, duplicate threads, mild self-promotion. Action: post edited/removed and a friendly reminder sent.

Tier 2 — Moderate. Repeated Tier 1 conduct, unsolicited selling/soliciting, sharing another member’s data without permission, gatekeeping abuse. Action: formal written warning logged on the account; a second Tier 2 violation escalates to suspension.

Tier 3 — Severe. Harassment, discrimination, credential sharing/account resale, redistributing paid Content outside the Community, fraud, or other conduct that violates the Terms of Service. Action: immediate suspension or permanent removal, without refund, at the Company’s discretion. Severe cases may be actioned without a prior warning.

C. Documentation

Moderators should log the violating content (screenshot or link), the tier assigned, and the action taken in the internal moderation log before removing content, so decisions can be reviewed consistently and referenced if appealed.

D. Appeals

A member who believes a moderation decision was made in error may appeal in writing to mike@brands2ads.com within 14 days of the action. Appeals are reviewed by Brands2Ads directly; decisions on appeal are final.

E. Relationship to Other Policies

These Rules supplement, and do not replace, The Catalyst’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer. Where these Rules and the Terms of Service conflict, the Terms of Service control.
